- TV sports baseball -

Cinemaware was a very wellknown developer for Amiga games releasing such classics as Wings, It came from the desert and defender of the crown. They also had a sport series of games and TV sports baseball is one of those games. Obviously it's about baseball and it uses the typical cinemaware approach to games with as much immersion into the game making it a bit more cinematic in experience.

The game has an exhibition play where you play a single match or league play where you pick a team and then try to win the series. When you select an exhibition play you can also select in which stadium you want to play but as far as I know this doesn't really change the actual gameplay but I could be wrong. You are first greeted by a host presenting the teams involved in the match and then it's on to the play itself. When pitching you have two small screens showing first and third base so you can have a good look at what's going on on the playing field. Ofcourse you can

Personally I'm not really into most sportsgames but that doesn't mean I never play them. TV Sports baseball is one of the least known games from Cinemaware and I can see why because the game doesn't really offer much that other baseball games don't have. I'm sure at the time it was released it was ok but and the graphics are quite good in true Cinemaware style. I guess you have to be into baseball if you are to get the most out of this game but for anyone else there are more action oriented baseball games available.

Overal rating: 6.5/10
